Good evening, dear readers!
This past week has probably been the busiest week of my life so far. I haven’t even had the chance to check my Facebook since last week (I apologize to all those beautiful birthday-people whom I completely failed to congratulate — Happy belated birthdays!)
Anyway, I’m not complaining! The reason for all that busyness is that I’ll be flying out to LA to attend the Awareness Film fest in a couple of days! Read more HERE.
After almost a week in California, I’ll head back to Sioux Falls to re-pack my suitcase before I fly to Washington DC for a journalism conference just two days later. Then I’ll go straight to New York City for some errands, before I head back to South Dakota just in time for Halloween. I’ll tell you more about it later!
People sometimes give me a lot of crap for my overly organized schedules, but it’s not that I’m a control freak, it’s just that without those schedules it’s impossible to get everything done in time!
This week, however, I wasn’t sure I’d even get it all done because I caught a nasty cold, but I’ve been sneezing, coughing and sniffling my way through the days — one hour at a time. And thanks to God’s mercy, cooperative professors and careful planning, I’ve managed to work three weeks ahead on my homework, do a TV-interview, a newspaper interview, cast actors for my first theatre show and finish all the paperwork for the upcoming film festivals.
But right now I’ll snuggle up in bed, eat some less healthy take-out, shut off my phone and watch Grey’s Anatomy.
Bless you all,
