I spent the past week just relaxing, and by that I mean r-e-l-a-x-i-n-g !! I really didn’t do anything, except a couple of workouts and of course I participated in one of the Lavelle family’s infamous movie marathons. No wonder I turned out to become a film nerd!
Some downtime was really necessary after a year where the days simply didn’t have enough hours. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE having a busy schedule with tons to do, but I think it’s healthy to have a couple of weeks during a year where you allow yourself to not be as productive as usual. Going to bed without setting an alarm, waking up without having a hectic schedule, tight deadlines or two workouts a day is something everyone should indulge in every once in a while.
Last Friday I drove to Stord to spend a couple of days with my friend Rannveig, her boyfriend and their fluffy dog Leo <3
Now I just got back from a run in the rain, yes an actual RUN. As I might have mentioned, I’ve been a vocal opponent of jogging ever since I was fourteen. However, now that my foot get upset as soon as I move faster than four miles per hour, I’ve been forced to change my attitude towards “moderate exercise” in the forms of slooow running. I think I can learn to like it.
Now I better get back to work. I have an upcoming project that requires quite a bit of planning, so I’ll talk to y’all soon.
